It all begins with friends.
Owners Robert Vargo and Logan Kinney have grown up as the best of friends and friendly competitors, in baseball, football, and academics. Both graduating with honors at the top of their class from Martins Ferry High School, class of 2014.
After high school, they continued their education at different colleges, Robert went to Ohio Dominican University and Logan to West Liberty University.
Both worked their way through college and maintained their steadfast friendship throughout. They recognized a need in the area and set about building a business to meet that need. Vargo’s Cargo was established in 2021 and continues to grow.

Graduated at the top of his class, with honors, from Martins Ferry High School in 2014.
Robert continued his education at Ohio Dominican University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business management in 2019 and his MBA in 2020.
Robert was a starting offense tackle for ODU, a division 2 school, for 4 years.
logan kinney
Graduated in the top of his class, with honors, from Martins Ferry High School in 2014.
Logan continued his education at West Liberty University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2018.
